Priest: it is said that priests are devoted to the spiritual, and express their unwavering faith by serving the people. For millennia they have left behind the confines of their temples and the comfort of their shrines so they can support their allies in war-torn lands. In the midst of terrible conflict, no hero questions the value of priestly orders.
I love priests for their humbleness and dedication. I mean, it can’t get much better than being a member of a religious organization while still potentially possessing the powers to delve into much more mephistophelian practices.
Priests are capable of much when it comes to helping the needy and dominating the weak. We do not rely on the natural to tend to the wounds of others, but rather ask a higher power for their assistance. Unlike paladins however, we usually stick to the rear, assisting our friends from afar rather than partaking in any of the actual fighting.
Yet our domains give us the capability of commuting various atrocities. We can destroy a person’s mind or cause them immense pain. We can bring an enemy’s fiercest nightmares to life before them or send them reeling from a complex mental assault. We can only dominate the minds of those like us, but we are still capable of seeing through the eyes of any creature.
And we get freaking angel wings!
Priests are a very fun class both in terms of their tools for gameplay and for RPing purposes.
